Hi everyone. We’re aware of an issue that may cause the Fitbit app to quit unexpectedly when you open the Exercise tile.

To fix an issue where the Fitbit app unexpectedly crashes when you open the Exercise tile, follow these steps. Note you’ll need to log back into the Fitbit app with your email address and password.

1. On your phone, open the Settings app.
2. Tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage.
3. Tap Clear Data.
4. Open the Fitbit app and log in.
5. Be sure to accept the requests for your phone to access your location, notifications, and other settings.

Thanks for taking the time to report this issue. I assure you that our team is aware and working on finding a resolution. I will be sure to keep you all updated as more information becomes available.

Started out this morning with 4400 steps then 1686 steps and now I'm done to 744 steps!!!!!!!!!!!!  If it's not one thing its another.  Not syncing was bad enough now I'm losing steps

My app is up to date, I've followed all the various instructions I've seen posted multiple times, and I still cannot get my device to work. Why is it working for some people and not others? This is an epic fail for Fitbit. My device is now in the charger and has a horizontal line on it. Sometimes it's a smiley face. But as soon as I remove it, it goes blank.

My Samsung Galaxy S8 hasn't worked since April 25th. It still will not sync. I see some people have had this problem for a month. Please fix this problem.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled fitbit app AGAIN!!! And still no joy I cany sync but cant see the circle in the middle or acess previous days reports or see requests from friends and it's been at least 2 or 3 days now? I wonder what would happen if I cancelled this device and set it again from the beginning but dont want to lose friends list , when I changed from last fitbit to this one I dodnt lose friends so just wondering now what to do next !!! And still no response from support !!!! Sirry I'm ranting

The problem with Fitbit inspire hr not syncing with iPhone is still a problem. You would think someone could figure out how to solve or repair this problem.

Please feel free to rant. I have tried all I can think of.  Now I'm losing steps. Then I check again and my steps aren't where they were now the calories are there!  What the heck is going on here

I cant a my steps on my  I pad ! Only on my Fitbit on my wrist as it's not showing that circle. Or previous days stuff  its frustrating because I've done all steps  requested my end but they not doing anything their  end

Hey folks....i started this post approx 6 or 7 days ago when my exercise app was not syncing or showing what it is suppose to track. I didnt do any reinstall or anything like that. Just read all the suggestions.  Guess what.! It just started working again😅😱😵😄😊 Theres hope!

My heart rate monitor hasn’t been functioning for the last 3 days. I’ve restarted twice and nothing.

I've lost steps today too.  The percentage under Goal Day is correct but my steps are over 2,000 less than they should be.

Charge 2 has been crashing and eventually uploading data for a few days. Tonight has crashed and 8 hours later has not uploaded the data

Same problem happened to me and when I reported the problem Fitbit had a fit and started calling me names because I reported the problem. I've been reporting problems with their app for months now. It doesn't track exercise correctly. The GPS has stopped working randomly. And now although my miles are set to 5 on my activity track although I have eight miles it doesn't show I've completed five miles yet. Another one to report to them. Seems the only if they maintain are the iOS apps. They really need to get some developers that know what they're doing.

My Fitbit now counts calories instead of steps! It switched over last night on its own randomly pls advise how to make it count steps again, this is bizarre!
