Best AnswerI've cleared app data and logged back in. Exercise tile opened fine once but had trouble loading GPS maps.
I then went back to main screen, went back into exercise and nothing loaded, just blank.
So i closed the app, reopened it, and now the app itself wont load. Just the fitbit logo on a white background.
I restarted my phone, all back to normal it seemed. However once again i could only access exercise once before it just broke and everything repeated itself.
Best AnswerMy son has been trying to cycle to Paris in Kilometres during lockdown. He has all his cycle rides on the app. If he has to clear the data he will loose the record af all his bike rides. He has some written down but not the last 2 weeks. There must be a way of solving this. He has a galaxy s7.
Best AnswerSimilar thing has started happening when trying to track exercise on Samsung Health.
I suspect you are right - perhaps an unexpectedly change in the GPS interface? I've tried the normal clearing cache. etc. but no improvement.
The workarounds I have got at the moment"
- Use the track exercise on my Charge (which is much better than starting it on the phone anyway)
- I can view the historical data on the web app. No where near as convenient, but more actually more comprehensive.
Hopefully there is a fix coming soon.
Best Answer@Loz97 try additional.to clear data:
- reinstall the app
- remove the device from app and as bluetooth device in bluetooth settings of your phone. The add the device again
For me it worked since
@JudeT data wont get lost. Data is.only.removed from the app and that will make it download the data again from where its stored in the cloud
As long as your sons fitbit device is synced it's all fine.
I did "Clear data" and it is now working OK. 😀
I was worried about losing all my data, but someone in an earlier post pointed out that the data is stored on server not on the phone.
I didn't lose any data.😀
Many Thanks
