EDIT: As of Sep 9, the exercise tile is no longer pulsing grey and is once again interactive. HOWEVER, exercise sessions logged on my Fitbit device are not syncing correctly with the app (steps and zone minutes are updating but the exercise session e.g. "Workout" is not displaying and I can't see the graph of my heartrate during said exercise. Also, I am unable to view any previous weeks' exercises going back to when I set up the device. Since it appears from this thread and at least one other that many people are experiencing similar issues, I highly recommend that everyone contact support so the company sees the similar tickets and is more likely to take remedial action. The squeakier the wheel, the more grease, as they say...
Here is a screenshot of when I try to view a previous week's exercises:
Over the last couple days, I've noticed the 'Exercise days' tile on the app isn't loading. Instead of the normal text, it's just pulsing grey rectangles like it's loading, but it never loads. At first it was just the current day, but now when I go back several days, the tile isn't loading for any of the days. All the other tiles load just fine.
I've included a screenshot of what the tile looks like when it's pulsing light and dark grey.

Mine worked fine until today after I updated the app. I could see the exercise registered but then it disappeared. I can add it manually but it just disappears too. Something similar to this happened a few months ago. Hope they fix it soon.

same issue here. I've spoken to the Fitbit techs twice now and get the impression they don't know what's wrong and therefore don't have a clue how to fix it either.

Oh fantastic. This really makes me want to leave fitbit. And honestly pretty embarrassing for fitbit.

Hi...its now the 15th Sept and still no update. In addition to this issue. I'm now getting different data in the app to my device on steps!!! How do I report this 🙏. You seem very switched on as you know who to call. Thanks in advance Gillian

Hey! Mine JUST started working again after being out for quite some time. No idea if it will stay working though as others have posted about inconsistency. No other updates that I've been made aware of other than a fix is being worked on. Hopefully a full fix will be soon.

Mine also started loading data last night. I have some missing days but the tiles on the Today screen are back! (For now anyway. Ha)

The fact that some of you are starting to see your exercise data is encouraging. That indicates to me that the team is actively working on a fix and is could be close to fixing the problem for all.
Regarding historical data, I think that you should see your historical data again. That data would have been uploaded to your account on the Fitbit server and should re-appear when the problem is finally fixed.

My exercise finally reappeared this morning and even logged 3 Peloton workouts. By the afternoon, it stopped logging those and Exercise Days are once again gone. This is so frustrating. May finally be the final straw for me.

My Activity tab has finally loaded for me this morning after a full week of being broken, but all exercises from the last two weeks seems to have been lost (just constantly loading and greyed out when I try to go back to view them), which is very annoying.

My Exercise tile is back but my Peloton workouts are not showing up there. This is very frustrating. I have had this problem since August 30. If I look in Health Connect on my Fitbit I can see my Peloton is connected. And what is very interesting is all my workouts are being synced from Fitbit to Runkeeper. So I can see all my workouts over there, but not in Fitbit!

Thank you for sharing your updates. It seems like there's some progress, but not everything is back to normal yet.
I think that when the problem is fixed, the data for our past workouts from before 30 Aug 2024 will show up since that data should have been uploaded to our accounts on the Fitbit servers. However, I'm not sure if our data from 30 Aug 2024 to when the problem is fixed will show up. I'm hoping that the data was uploaded, but the syncing problem is what is keeping us from seeing the data. 🙏

Just posting one more update: my exercise tile was showing, but not accurately tracking at all. I went through some trouble shooting once more with a support person, and of course that didn't work. After rebooting some things, my exercise tile is no longer working at all again. Just grayed out, infinitely trying to load.
This has gone on long enough for me to feel comfortable leaving fitbit. I have no confidence they can resove this issue.
