Exercise edits won't persist

I accidentally stopped my exercise app before I was done.  I went back later to the exercise record and put it into edit mode by pressing the pencil button. I changed the duration from 34 to 40 to reflect my actual exercise time and then pressed save,  The change seemed to take but when I went back to my dashboard, the original value persisted and the change. Was lost 

What up?  This used to work.

I have a support case open since 1/8/05 and still no update when this will be fixed.  Previous topic got closed after 28 pages of replies.

New app update still does not fix it.  sucks.
