After the 9/30 update the exercise widget on the Today screen is now missing the plus. The only way to add exercise is now to click on that widget and then use the gear+ icon up at the top.
More touches/clicks is bad.

I haven't updated to the 9/30 version of the app. Still running 3.6 and this version doesn't have the + in the exercise tile either.
I have always gone into the gear symbol to add any exercises.
Other than that how is the app as far as syncing and notifications?

I wonder what makes the plus show up then?

Disappeared in the iOS app, too. Contacted Fitbit, response was it was removed based on customer feedback. Hunh? Who asked for a shortcut to be removed? This happened a few years ago, they put it back. Hope enough of us raise the question that they’ll put it bac (again) and leave it alone.

Hi,
I am facing the same issue on my Android phone. There is no option to add/remove exercises.
Thanks!

Hi everyone. It's good to see you here in the Community Forums, and I'm sorry for the delayed response.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about the Fitbit app, as well for the steps tried on your own. @mastonevich and @SunsetRunner, thank you also for sharing screenshots of what is displayed on the Fitbit app.
I've been informed that this was a bug experienced on the Fitbit app, and as of today you should start seeing the (+) sign next to the exercise tile as it was before. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this situation caused you, and we appreciated your patience. Also, if you've not done so make sure to update the Fitbit app to the latest version to ensure it's performance.
By the way, I've merged some replies to this new thread to keep our forums organized.
If you need anything else, feel free to reply back.
