When logging a food I have entered in the past, the app retrieves the numbers from the previous log... So for example Service Size: "3.5". However, I enter a new amount in the field say "4" and the app will change it back to 3.5. I can do this several times before I can get it where I can log the amount, sometimes it still logs the "3.5" and I have to go in and edit it. I assume it's re-freshing these values from somewhere and overwriting my input, but there should be a check for this. Using this app to log all my nutrition means I encounter this problem many many times a day. It's VERY frustrating.

@JohnReeher A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for the details shared.
I see where your frustration is coming from. I'd like you to log out from the app, force quit it, clear cache and try again. Also please double check that your phone operating system is compatible with the Fitbit app which is Android 7.0 or higher.
If you keep experiencing this, attach a screenshot to your next reply.
Let me know how it goes.

@SilviaFitbit Thanks for the reply, I tried this and clearing the cache and it does seems to clear up the issue, which is great because the app was becoming unusable. However, over a relatively short period of time (couple of days) it starts to become a nuisance again... and then gets progressively worse. Being an IT professional I tried various options...including uninstall/re-install and trying it on a different device... seems to behave the same regardless. But clearing the cache does work... I have cleared the cache several times since posting this message. So I'm not going to say it is "resolved" it appears to be a software bug.
