My friend sent me a challenge, and it came to my email. When I tried to accept in the App, it said it was not detecting any Contacts and i needed to add some. I have the friend's email. It does detect Facebook contacts, but she chooses not to link to that for security reasons. But it is definitely not detecting phone contacts. I have a Nexus 2.
I read the related 2015 post on this. So that fix must no longer work on newer versions of Android. How do I fix? Or is the company even aware of the situation? Thanks.

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!
I will gladly assist you with adding your friends. When using the contacts on your phone the contacts need to have an email associated with them so the app can see if the contact has a Fitbit account.
Let me know how it goes.

I said in my original post that I had her email. This response is not helpful.
