Hi there @Brightonbird197, good to see you again in the Community, it's been a long time since your last visit. My apologies for the late response, I'm wondering how it goes, is the issue still persisting?
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ has not been confirmed as compatible and I have seen the notifications is one of the affected features, regarding the compatibility of the app and these phones. unfortunately I do not have a timeframe or confirmation this phone will be listed. Usually our list of compatible devices is updated without previous notice.
When a phone is not listed as compatible, is not an statement that the app won't work. So, It would not hurt to give it a try to these suggestions for notification issues: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
See you later and hope this helps in the meantime.
