I have been trying to remove the "Rest" interval from the Interval Workout on my Fitbit Charge 4. In the Android app, it says "Swipe left on Rest if you'd like to remove it." I've tried this multiple times, along with swiping in the other direction, swiping while the edit window is open, etc. Nothing has worked. I assume this is a bug in the Android app that will need to be fixed.

Hello @fbeller and welcome to the Help forums. I wish I had a magic answer for you. I am an iOS user who uses the Interval Workout. And the iOS version is working normally. Why do you want to remove the Rest segment? Interval training involves moving and resting. When you remove the Rest period your only Edit option is to add it back. Why remove it? Am I missing something?

Hi @LZeeW, the reason I want the option to remove the "Rest" interval is because I do a lot of Crossfit style workouts where the rest is determined by the speed at which you complete exercises. For example, my workout today involved a set series of exercises, and I had to do them every five minutes for five rounds, so any time I had left in the five minutes after completing the set exercises was my "rest". I cannot put in a set amount of "Rest" time for these workouts, and would rather not have to include a mandatory 10-second rest period on the Fitbit if I don't have to.

@fbeller Now that makes perfect sense! I will mark this a new bug, but don't expect a quick fix. I am not an employee, but my experience tells me this would be a low priority bug. In the meantime, will a 4 minute 50 second move with a 10 second rest (totaling 5 minutes) work for you? Will this approach work for different workouts on different days? Just tossing out an idea.
I am also moving this tread to the Android forum. This is an app bug, not a device bug. This will get better exposure in the Android forum.

@LZeeWGlad I could clear it up! I've been doing the X:50 with :10 rest and it obviously still works, I'd just like the option to remove the rest if I can. And I just wanted to check and make sure it was indeed a bug and I wasn't using the app wrong or screwing something up. Thanks for trying to help!

@fbeller No need to respond. I can remove the "Rest" in the iOS app. The fact that you tell me that you can start the removal, but can't complete it says bug to me.
Or you can get an iPhone. Haha. No, wait! We have our own set of bugs. Stay safe.

@fbeller Thanks for joining us!
Let me help you with the removing the rest option from your interval training. Have you tried any troubleshoots? I suggest you log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure that the app is up to date. If the issue persist could you please let me know which version of the Fitbit app do you have installed on your phone? Also let me know which phone do you have and which OS version is it running.
@LZeeW thank you for your help in this thread.
Let me know how it goes.

@AlvaroFitbitI tried signing out, restarting my phone, and logging back in. Still didn't let me remove "Rest." I've checked and the app seems to be up to date (currently version 3.20). I have a OnePlus 8 with Oxygen OS version 10.5.5.
