Today is Monday, but the next three days are already saying over 1.8k Calories Out. Is this predictive or a bug?

I may have spoken too soon, as the issue is BACK this morning. I saw in another reply that they are expecting a permanent fix around Sept. 10.

Yes it's gone back this morning. Showing future calories, this is so frustrating.

Ugh. Just stumbled across this thread. Same problem. I sure wish the web dashboard was still around. Bad decisions from Google all around on this one.

Since Tuesday 27 Aug, calories burned from fitbit one are not refreshed in the android app 4.23!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra.
Both fitbit one and inspire 3 (bought today) show the calories consumed, but the app does not take them into account in the calculation. It only shows basal calories!?

I have downloaded and refreshed the app several times but nothing helps.
Also there are errors every time I refresh. The top shows different calorie values than the bottom for activitiy.

By adding a new connection (phone) I managed to slightly increase the calorie values but the values are far from those in fitbit one and inspire 3.

The app is also unable to connect to my fitbit one via BT...

Please help, the calculation of calories consumed and calories entered is very important to me

I'm also having the same issue. It also seems tied into the fact the app doesn't properly track steps from my Fitbit One but will send those missing steps to my Fitbit Sense 2. If I try adding the steps manually in the app it's fine...but then those steps get added to both my fitbits and throws...which then get added back to the app.

I've forced stopped, cleared data/cache, uninstalled/reinstalled, and even restarted my phone. It worked for a bit last night but started over again today

I use Fitbit for a step and calorie challenge at work (Fitbit syncs with their health app) and it's causing me so many issues. I hope the supposed fix next week corrects that too.

Supposedly they will be releasing a fix on the 10th.

Christ Fitbit has gotten a lot worse recently, with the removal to add vitamins and minerals via the web based version, and the inaccuracy of the food tracker to correctly log fat, sugar etc.

Because it has been inaccurate for almost a week now, I started writing down my calories consumed and calories burned, and I update it every time I eat anything. It's a bit of a hassle, but it has been working well for me, relative to restarting stalled weight loss progress. In fact, I hit a new low this morning, after a plateau that lasted for a week. Once Fitbit gets the problems with the app corrected, I'll stop manually tracking calories. Hanging my hopes on Sept. 10 as the fix date.

Same issue, was looking to see if anyone has found a workaround. I don't think I'll go so far as to manually track my macros... because from what I understand the dashboard is still accurate, correct? It's only when you click the food tile to see details and get a feel for whether you're on track for the day that it makes you think "Damm I can go eat a doughnut".

I'm only tracking calories in and calories out manually. It's a bit of a hassle, but I want to be serious about this effort to get to my goal weight. I'm not writing down macros, but I am choosing to input all of the data for "Detailed View" when I log a food item. I'll see if I can upload a photo of today's written input/output record, to show what it looks like. It's pretty basic.

Just using the tracker to count "burned" (don't know of any other way), and then using the app to log "consumed". Meeting with my nutritionist this Wednesday around lunch time, as a follow up to my first appointment with her two months ago. I'm about 20 or so pounds down from that July 11 appointment, via eating better, getting more active, and running. However, I have had to table the running lately due to sore knees. Bought some Brooks Adrenalines on the advice of a coworker who is an experienced marathoner, but my knees were already sore by the time I got them, and the healing is taking a while. Just too painful to run right now, even with the help of OTC meds like ibuprofen and naproxen. Also, trying to burn at least 3,000 Cals a day, and intake 2,000 or less. Not super rigid on the intake, but don't want to go much over 2,000. Mainly, trying to have a 1,000 Cal deficit at bedtime, which is why I'm logging manually until they get the app fixed.

I laughed at "eat a donut " cause that's how my mind works.   Best I can tell the Calories Burned on the dashboard tile is correct because it seems consistent with what I typically burn.  But the Food Tracker is way over inflating Calories Out and Remaining in your Budget.  So I'm entering in the food I eat and letting the app tally the Calories but subtracting that from the dashboard Calories Burned to figure out Remaining Budget. Pain in the ****.  Really disappointed in Google for this error.  It's major functionality for the app and should be addressed as a critical error.  If they don't get this fixed soon I may be looking for an alternative tracker.Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device
