I didn't realize the "calories below target" in the dashboard tile is also wrong.
1,977 minus 1,348 minus 500 (deficit) should be 129. I can deal with that much calculating as it sounds like they'll have a fix soon.

When will this be fixed? It's been 6 days since you posted this, and unfortunately this is a bug that makes both the app and the watch unhelpful to me and thousands of others.

I have found that if BT is turned on, the APP detects data from my Fitbit One.
As soon as I turn it off the floor data disappears.
In comparing Fitbit One vs. Inspire 3, it shows 185kcal less than the One, maybe because it doesn't take floors into account!?

It appears that the added calorie count into the future dates is a server side issue. I am still running version 3.88 and the problem occurred at the same time. It looks like they are adding the total BMR for 24 hrs into the future days.

Yeah the calorie tracker for Apple phone has been broken also for the past two weeks. Getting close to ditching FitBit and finding a reliable app to track manually entered calories burned.

Same issue here - since the last app update the 1,685 cals per day is now showing up for the whole of this week (today is Monday). Sigh.
Also since updating the app I keep losing bluetooth connection from my pixel 7a to my fitbit charge 5 overnight. The bluetooth connection on the phone itself is showing up but won't allow connection. If anyone else is having this issue the solution is to force stop the app, wait for the bluetooth on your phone to show as connected (should only be a second or so) then restart the app.

Hello,
I am having the same issue. I have updated recently to 4.25.2 version of the android app but the error still persists. I wanted to ask if this is only happening to me or it is still a common issue in the community since I saw some user's comments from last week indicating that the error was solved. Any ideas if I need to do anything on my side or if the group is still working on fixing the bug?
It is really a mess since I cannot control correctly my calorie intake, since it may show that I am underbudget when in reality I am not, making me loss my mark.

estimates I can eat more because it's also showing estimated future cal
burned out. By the end of the day I didn't burn off what it thought and I'm
constantly over. I changed my cal deficit to be lower hopefully when I go
over I still end up really being a little under on my intake vs out. Would
be nice of them to fix it like they say they were working on it!

For now, I'm using the app to log food and the tracker to count burned calories. Using those two metrics, I enter data into a generic spreadsheet I made. Specifically, when I wake up and weigh in, I log calories burned while sleeping and I log a 0 for "consumed". That results in my first deficit of the day. After each meal, I fill out the spreadsheet again. The columns on the spreadsheet include Time of Day, Weight (which I only log when I wake up and right before bed), Burned Calories, Consumed Calories, Deficit, and the Date. I will also fill in Consumed, Burned, and Deficit when I get home from work, as well as a few other times throughout the day. Until the issues with the app are corrected, the spreadsheet is the best workaround I've come up with to compensate for the bug.

As a person seeking to add mass and weight, I hope the predictive calorie counts can be added as feature. I like to see some estimate on what I will need to overcome by the end of the day for my health goals
