Hi there @Anja1. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I was taking a look at the list of compatible devices (you can check it here) and it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S9+ is not a compatible device yet.
When it comes to devices compatibility, keep in mind that the two devices that are for sure not compatible at the moment are the Huawei P9 Lite and the Huawei P8 Lite.
For all other devices, if they're not on the list of compatible devices, you might be able to sync with them but we don't guarantee that the functionality will be optimum as we are still testing on these phone models and due to the large number of Android and Windows devices, our team has not yet tested all of them.
Hope you find this helpful and anything else you may need, I'm always around!

I've got the Samsung s9+ phone and have managed to sync this with my new fitbit ionic. I can view texts bit not respond to them so have some functionality but not all features. I'd like to know how long we will have to wait to access all features or is there no point in keeping watch

My Galaxy S9 connects to my Blaze and they communicate. It won't however let me receive notifications from default apps such as text messages or email. These are grayed out on the notifications selection menu for some reason.

When will the fitbit ionic and s9+ be compatible?
