Fitbit app crashes when attempting to log custom food

ANSWERED
Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When you go into the app on Android, go to add a food item that you ate, click on custom and then try to scroll down to find the food item, the app crashes stating:

Something went wrong with Fitbit

Fitbit closed because this app has a bug.

Try updating this app after it's developer provides a fix for this error.

This was AFTER I updated to the latest release.

My custom meals scrolling issue on S20 was fixed by this.
This is a very important function to me.
After 3years + I was considering leaving due to loss of this function.
Please don't break existing functions and have better response to bugs.

Thank you Lizzy!!! This fixed it. As others have said, I hope further updates do not revert this.

Take care!

Thank you, Lizzy, Fitbit. My Custom Food list is now working after this mornings update.

I had prepared to leave Fitbit over this.

Nutrition information is broken again.  I don’t think I can eat 723% DV of iron in 627 calories.  Or over 1200% of vitamin C.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.

Thanks for keeping me posted and you're able to log your custom food correctly. Because this issue has been resolved, I'm going to close this thread from further comments. However, if you have another question, I'd encourage you to start a new thread in the Help Forums to receive help from the Community.

I truly appreciate your feedback and patience. Rest assured we'll continue working to improve the Fitbit experience. 😊
