Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the Google App play store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/23
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

@LARYSSAG could we get a screen shot. On the bottom of the page their should be a Start button.
@Crazy-Fritter if your on a four year old dashboard, you still using the last dashboard people liked. If I read the posts from a few years ago, I read that "nobody likes" the dashboard that "everybody now" wants back

I remember back then. A lot of people hated the dashboard when it changed. Including me. It was and still is better than what it was "upgraded" to.
I bet the reason why a lot of people want the dashboard form a couple weeks ago back over the new current one is because they never had the pleasure of using the one from a few years ago. I recently went back to using the older one from a few years back myself.

How can I get this "old" dashboard? It seems quite useful and attractive. I must have missed it when I was away from Fitbit for a while.

There are several places online that host older versions of many apps. I'm running version 2.38 from 11/2016 on my Galaxy Note 8.

I found one, but it skips 2.63. Which one with the "older" dashboard - the one that was posted - are @Rich_Laue and others using?

There are places online. I'm wondering if it's a good idea though. Version 2.63 that others are mentioning, may have a good dashboard, but could have other issues that subsequent updates corrected. Fitbit has been talking about this new dashboard since April. It's now nearly mid-July. Really???

When will the new dashboard be available? My daughter has it for weeks and I'm still waiting for it. It looks great and I am eager to try it out.

I found a site that offered 2.63. But, it required signing up for some sort of investment program. No, thank you. Promptly deleted it. Fitbit, since so many are talking about going back to older apps just to have a decent dashboard, perhaps you could (1) issue a warning and (2) hurry up with the new dashboard already.

I've had my Fitbit Vers for going on a year now. My Fiance got his as a Christmas gift. Is there a reason the newest fitbit is receiving ALL the new updates while mine doesn't? My app has been updated 2-4 times since the new layout came out. The old layout is an eyesore

@Snap__Dragon, your texts, calls, and calendar updates may need to be reselected. I can't say for sure since I don't have the new dashboard yet (Grrrr!!!) However, with previous app updates (the ones that only say "bug fixes and stability improvements" and don't tell you much about what they really did), I have sometimes had to choose those over again. Then they work fine. Another possibility may be to reboot your Versa. That has solved some odd problems with my Ionic in the past (including syncing) and those issues have not returned. You do that by holding down the left button and one or both of the two right buttons (that's Ionic, Versa might have different instructions, but there should be a way), until the Fitbit logo appears (a few seconds). Then release all the buttons and let it boot up again. It's like any computer - sometimes you just have to clear the cache or let it start over in some fashion. Good luck.

I usually turn my phone completely off for a couple of minutes after updating the app. For some reason it seems to settle in better.

Somehow I already received update version 3.0, still with the old dashboard. I hope to find the new one soon.

I am loving the new look. It does seem to sync faster and my battery life improved.

I've tried the reset and it's not helped. These problems are directly related to the new dashboard. Don't be upset that you don't have it yet. I am not impressed after two weeks of having it. There was a fresh update just now and things are working a little better but so not perfect like they were.
