Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the Google App play store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/23
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

Hey Fitbit-Team,
today I got the new Dashboard too.
I have only one simple wish: Please make the "Activity" tile a little bit smaller. The first activity circle is too big and this wastes the space on the screen.
So please make it smaller or make it optional to show all activity circles in the same size in one row without this "big" one on top.
That's all -- the rest of the new dashboard looks fine. Move on.
I hope this is your only problem - keep us all posted
I really don't like the new dashboard view. I think it sucks that I cannot (or if I can, it's not obvious how) rearrange what shows up where. Ugh! I especially dislike it when the "new and improved" is actually the "new and less configurable". A resounding boo vote for the less configurable UI!
My phone just updated to the new look - it reminds me of the the old iFit system which I dumps because the Fitbit was better. So why do people wear a FitBit? It used to be to track their fitness and exercise ... now we are wearing one to fiddle with an app.
I opted out of the change to the new dashboard but today it wouldn't give me an option to not "upgrade". I don't want this change and it's bull you keep changing this 😠. Try improving your watch and stop changing apps for no reason. It didn't make it better just different!
Hi Chrisman1985,
Out of curiosity have you stopped the fitbit app from upgrading or did you just decline the "new experience"
Regards
Best AnswerI hate it too. I want to organize the items and can no longer do that. I lose track of my steps per hour because they are so far down on the list and it is no longer easy to see that you actually have gotten the steps. Sometimes I get too involved in what I am doing and miss the vibration reminder so I liked to check on the app. Now it is so hard to do that. The new interface sucks!
No, I am not enjoying the new layout. The text size and design is less accessible for my less than perfect vision. If I increase the page size on my device I need to do more scrolling, which doesn't help. I also don't like that I've had to rehide irrelevant items, which I do to declutter; the update wiped out my personalisations. Most of all I dislike that there have been lots of issues raised on this thread but apparantly no response.
I am finding that the app on fitbit.com is much easier to use now that is the fitbit app on Android. The Android app requires too much scrolling, is very inefficient and is a waste of time. I used to have everything I wanted to see right on the first page, no scrolling. Now it is a real pain. I avoided going to this release until it was forced on me for just that reason.
Thanks. That helps somewhat. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to move things around. It is not intuitive. Still have to scroll, scroll to see everything I used to be able to see on one screen.
Declined the new app
Best AnswerIf you click the + after x of 7 days of exercise this week, you will go into the tracking. if you click on log previous, you can add an exercise type, a start date, and a duration.
On the steps per hour tracking icon, it is really hard to tell the difference between the current hour and the upcoming hours. The contrast is not significant enough for my old, tired eyes. On the old icon, it was very obvious because it was easy to tell the difference between the size of the dots.
