Fitbit Update: 8/15
Hey all!
This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.
A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.
Fitbit Update: 8/6
Hey everyone!
Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.
We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app.
Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 6/17
Hi Fitbit Family,
We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the Google App play store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.
Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.
Fitbit Update: 5/23
Hi everyone!
We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.
Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!
Fitbit Update: 4/24
Hi everyone!
Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.
You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?
As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.
We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

I liked the old version better - it was much more user friendly in my opinion. On another note, is there any way you all can add a "copy" for the food log? I have the exact same breakfast every day and it would be so much easier if I could just copy that log from day to day instead of having to enter everything individually every morning. Thanks for listening and considering this part of the future upgrades to the app.

This new dashboard is a disaster!
I don't see any improvements.
What I do see is what is worse:
- The information is in a smaller font and harder to read.
- It is really hard to tell, for example, if you have or not completed the # of steps for the current hour (much easier before). This would not be a problem if when you click on the icon the information under "Hourly Activity" updated in real-time, but this has always been one of the slowest parts of the dashboard so it's no use.

Lori, have you looked at creating a custom meal? On the create a meal menu you can add all the items you have for that meal and the serving sizes, then save it with a name like "Post Workout Breakfast" or whatever. Then to enter that same meal on any given day, click Post Workout Breakfast on your meal tab and it will appear on the food log with all the items listed separately.

Whatever you did on 8/15 is the day my zip stopped syncing with the app. Worked fine for the previous 6 years and now all it does it track calories? I have tried everything in your help section on how to get it to sync and nothing works - it has to be the update to the app - very disappointing!

The dashboard is awful at updating consistently. Certain elements update others don't. With these things being the way they are offer a beta. Or I'm going to look for another tracker

I did update to the new design...not keen if I'm honest
Ever since App wont sync like it used to and today wont do anything. Sync. Can't find device , count steps or sleep. So pretty fed up to be honest.
Done all the usual trouble shooting bits and bobs so any ideas...
Would really like the old app back

Just got subjected to this rubbish new layout. Do I really need telling to wear my tracker at night? The tile effect was much better, not so much scrolling around and you could see your heart rate far more easily.
Also when I open mine half of the page is taken up with telling me that there is a firmware update for my charge 2. So I suppose I am stuck with that forever, because no way am I loading that as it has bricked so many other people's charge 2s. I've said it before and I'll say it again, when this tracker dies it will not be replaced by another fitbit.

Very difficult to set up a silent alarm as the little plus sign that used to be on the old dashboard is missing from the new “Today” page. It is hidden and you have to hunt for it by clicking on your profile pic then tapping on the icon of your Fitbit device then scrolling down to find Silent Alarm. Terrible- no options to add it on the TODAY page.
