Hey, yesterday I updated my Fitbit to the new firmware and I tried to make some changes but when I press on clock faces or anything I get the error message "oops looks like there is no internet connection".
I cleared the cache, what else to do?

I have done all of this. I also removed my account, reset it up, removed the app and reinstalled, rebooted phone, rebooted fitbit and still nothing. Fitbit support couldn't help me either. My watch now has an Uninstaller click face on it.

This isn't a fix. This is a workaround. Fitbit needs to fix this issue.

I check my app for block ads and give permission to Fitbit app and works 😊👌🏻

Thanks a lot for this post. I was able to solve the issue. As you said it can be very frustrating. Thank you.

Also, I found that once you have accessed the gallery (apps and faces) you can turn on the private DNS and it wont affect the access in fitbit app for the particular internet connection (WIFI or mobile data). Looks like the fitbit domain is taken off some black list once it is able to access the gallery!

OMG Thanks Jennifer! Finally a fix .. I returned 4 fitbit watches because customers support could not fix the gallery error issue. not to mention the months and countless hours wasted on the phone with them.
After google take over fitbit has gone down the toilet.

Even though Google might not make things better this issue has been present for long before Google bought Fitbit.
When it's caused by the Private DNS from Adguard I think the only solution is to ask Adguard to open their DNS to fitbit's servers.
Otherwise I see no option but to not use the Adguard private DNS.

True, but from my experience Google is running fitbit and their customer service (spoke to 5) NOT one knew about this issue. Which is just SAD.
The hassle i went through made me not want to buy another fitbit again. Buying , returning 4 watches because fitbit did not know how to resolve it.
