Fitbit stopped connecting to app

My fitbit was working fine till the other day when it just stopped connecting to my phone to give me sleep patterns and all that ... I'm unsure what to do I keep following the instructions that it gives you when yiu set it up but nothing is working

Mine has done the SE thing. It shows paired with the bluetooth but won't sync.

My Charge 2's battery went dead & now it won't sync with my Samsung phone.

Mine also stopped syncing on Weds. Tried everything I can but no joy. Who can help?

Mine started doing the same thing! It won't show steps or exercise activity and won't sync at all since Tuesday or Wednesday! Changed dashboards like they mentioned and that still didn't work

Mine stopped working on Wednesday.  I think that is wierd that it seems to have happened around the same time for us.  I am so aggravated, I was starting to get into this and it only lasted a few weeks for me.  I have tried all the fixes.

Believe it or not but my flex 2 is now syncing with my phone again and after trying everything to get it to  sync the thing that did it was as simple as turning my phone off and then back on again. How ridiculous is that, try it it might work for you too.

@Betheroo1, often after installing the new Fitbit app it is necessary to restart the phone in order to correctly load the new app.  If your Fitbit tracker stopped syncing after upgrading the Android app, it is a good idea to restart the phone to make sure it correctly loads the app.

I have turned the phone off several times. My last update on my droid was two months ago so I am good there.  I did the force quit process.  Still nothing.  I have to say it's driving me crazy!  😥

@Lnichols, if your last update to the Android app was two months ago, you are not running the current app.  The current Fitbit Android app is version 2.41, released on Jan 25th.

My app is up to date. I have tried restarting my phone. Yesterday I even tried to connect with the wifi doggle. My computer recongized the dongle, updated the app on my computer but is not connected to my Charge HR. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I meant my phone itself is updated.  I am using the 2.41 fit bit app. Funny that Jan 25 us when it stopped working

As I have only had my flex 2 for a couple of weeks I had not experienced any problemswith it, so didn't know what to do. I would like to thank everyone who offered suggestions to try and help me. 👍

I finally spoke with a fitbit support person yesterday. They suggested I restart the tracker. Once I did this, it all connected fine. You do this by holding down the button until you see the #122 but the tracker has to be connected to the charger for this to work. Hope this helps some of you too.
