Fitbit wont show Text nofications on with Pixel 3

Just got a Pixel 3. It will show Calender and call notifications but not text. I have unistalledd the app, disconnected from blutooth. It wont show texts.

 

Any help or ideas?

You could try the following [if (1) does not work try (2) ]:

1) Install this app and see if it works with your phone: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.abhijitvalluri.android.fitnotifications&hl=en

 

2) Try the earlier version of the Fitbit app 2.90. Google "Fitbit app 2.90 mirror" (without the quotes) and install that version. Before that, make sure you have gone into Android settings -> Apps. There, find the app and delete Cache / Data and then uninstall. Reboot your phone and install the 2.90 version.
