Hi,

My futbit stopped syncing 10 days ago and is not even visible to my android bluetooth...

Any suggestion what I could try to fix it?

Many thanks

Hello @AAS123, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device are you using with your Flex 2? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

Hi,

Thank you for your message.

I have been using my flex 2 for over 3 years now using the same device-samsung s6 and one day it stopped syncing.

Fitbit itself works as it still buzzes when I hit 10,000 steps target, but no numbers are showing on the fitbit app.

What is more when I am trying to find my flex2 searching for devices via bluetooth it doesn't come up.

I tried updating fitbit app, but no difference with new app...

Hope the above makes sense?

Many thanks

You're welcome @AAS123, thanks for your reply too.

I appreciate your effort troubleshooting this situation with me, seems odd that even after trying the troubleshooting steps from my previous post you're still unable to sync your Flex 2. That said, please follow the next steps:

  1. Restart your Flex 2.
  2. Please on the phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth, and remove all the connections that exist with the device. (Forget device, ignore or unpair depending on the version of the operating system of the phone).
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth and restart the phone. (Switch off and on again).
  4. When the Samsung Galaxy S6 is back on, turn the Bluetooth on again but do not attempt to connect to the Fitbit from here.
  5. Go on the app and try setting up the Ionic as a new device.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
