Issue with food logging tile not working. Showing complete blank since around 11am UK. I've done every fix I possibly can and updated the app too, logged out, restarted phone ad nauseam. Not working. Can't see remaining cal figures. What's happening?

Hi everyone!
Excellent news. I was informed by our team that this bug has been fixed. A Fitbit App Update is not required.
Have a great weekend!
Best AnswerI appear to have a similar issue, although originally I posted in the Charge 6 Forum as I was not aware of this Android app forum. My post was moved to here:
You may review what I have attempted and still have not resolved the issue.
Thanks PJ, looks exactly like what I had earlier. I managed to get the tile back but it's still not showing cals in, or giving my predicted cals remaining. I was very close to deleting and reinstalling the app, but now looks like that wouldn't fix it either. Thanks for posting, I hope it's fixed soon, really not happy with this today

What once was a decent Fitness tracker is lately getting more and more buggy.
The latest? Food tracking is not working anymore.
BTW Mr. Google, terrible move to kill the web interface. And for the note, a pixel 2 is terrible and not comparable to Sense 2. With Sense 2 ends my experience with Fitbit.
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity and word choice
Not just food log affected, I've noticed that several previous days are showing zero for water entries now too (and the food tile is greyed out as well).
Still no response from fitbit and nothing through their twitter account either

Yes, same here JimC - all my details are entered and show up when clicking on tile. I've never seen this before in ten years of using fitbit. It's the worst bug yet 🙄
--------
Water entries missing from 1st Aug - only happened today at same time as the food tile issue
Something similar is Happening to me to on my android pixel 6A. I can add food, and the totals are there but it doesn't consistently total to the top and each day of the week. Some days the totals work, some days they don't. I don't see a pattern in it. I hope there is a fix soon.
Same here. Just started today for me. Pixel 7a Luxe.
Same. S25. I was told go get the latest version for a different UI issue only to end up with THiS issue. Way worse. Sigh. And my Bar Code and Food Log widgets are GONE... why? Ugh... they should roll back to prior version, please
Still ongoing here in UK BST, and no response from anyone here on on Twitter. I'm just going to find an old version somewhere and use that though I suspect it's not even the app, maybe more to do with servers..?? I don't know. Extremely poor service all round
I'm having the same problem with the Food icon just a gray silhouette.
Additionally my doctor requires me to drink 2,000 ml of water every day, which I log faithfully.
Now all the input has zeroed out and when I re-input it every day for the past week, nothing takes and the Water remains at zero. I've checked Downdetector and there's been a huge spike with Fitbit this evening.
At least I'm not alone but it would be polite for Google to let us know it's aware of the issue. Most other companies do so.
Check https://downdetector.com/status/fitbit/ for yourself.

Same issue here on a Pixel 9 Pro with Pixel Watch 3.
Deleting the data, clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, restarting the smartphone, restarting the Pixel Watch, resynchronizing, logging out and logging back in again does not help.
The Food tile is either displayed with gray graphics, as if the app were trying to display the data, or stubbornly remains at 0. Everything else works fine, though.
Nothing was showing on down detector when I checked yesterday, or nothing major anyway. Now it looks to be more widespread maybe something will be done. I agree that the polite thing to do would be to at least acknowledge there's an issue.
