Hello,

Since yesterday evening my fitbit isn't logging my food intake. It pops up that fitbit has stopped working. Now it is saving my food log's but it's coming up as 0 kcals in. Could you please help me as I've only started using this in the last few days & it's disappointing that I'm already encountering problems. Thanks.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Aoifeh. It's great to have you here. This behavior sounds weird. We just recently released a new app version for Android devices. I would recommend downloading and installing the new app. If you have it already, please try uninstalling the app and reinstall it. If you keep experiencing the same problem, please check out if your kcals are showing up in the online Dashboard. Let me know how it goes.

I moved this thread to the Android app board because it's more related to the topic. Catch you later. Smiley Very Happy

I am having the same issue as @Aoifeh.  I am only having the issue on my Android mobile device and it only seems to be impacting my custom foods/meals.  Regular food entries from frequent/recent, my foods, search, etc. seem to be working fine.  Like @Aoifeh, the custom food shows up fine on the add screen, but once it is selected, the calories show as 0cals and I am unable to change portion amount or type.  Hitting "log this" causes the app to crash and an error message of "Unfortunately, Fitbit has stopped." to appear on the screen.  I have already tried force stopping the app, as well as uninstalling & reinstalling the app on my phone, twice, but am still having the same issue.  It is not happening when I log my foods using my PC app or the website.  I am guessing this is a bug with the latest Android version, so hopefully you can track the problem and resolve it quickly.  I use my food tracker daily and having to go to the computer to log my meals is not ideal.  Please let me know once you guys have a solution to this problem.  Thanks in advance!

Exact same thing is happening to me. Go to log a meal in the Android app (Custom tab) and the meal shows as 0 calories. Choose Log This or Log and Add More and the screen goes black, then get message Unfortunately Fitbit has Stopped. Works fine on the dashboard. Also logging custom food (not a meal) works OK. Problem just with logging meals in Android app. Tried logging out and back in, forcing stop, reboot, even re-install, all with no luck.

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled the new version and it's working normally again. Hope that works for everyone having similar problems!

Unfortunately not - still having the same issue after re-installing. Just tried again. Have contacted Fitbit Support, so will see what they say.
