Forced Upgrade (I had to use the "improved" UI to get my Flex to sych with my Samsung 10e)

To get my original Flex to synch with my new Samsung Galaxy 10x, I was forced to "upgrade" to the new smart phone interface. I hated it back when it was introduced and I hate it now.

I still get error messages that the "devise is not located."

This really is an unresolved technical issue. WHY?

@NY2TX It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with your Flex not syncing with your phone. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.

Seriously? I had to go the user interface that I dislike, just to get my original Flex to synch with my Samsung 10e. Your "fixes" won't address the real issue. PLUS, whereas I was able to use "all day synch" with the old interface, the new "improved" interface doesn't give you that option.

So I just received an email that asked,"Did one of these responses provide the answer you needed?"

My answer is a loud and resounding "NO!" I didn't get a helpful response.
