For a few days now there has been no heart rate data registering during my mindfulness sessions. It used to show heart rate and the change from beginning to end, but now shows nothing. All it says is to wear my fitbit during the sessions. I am! It used to work, it's still showing heart rate data everywhere else, I have changed nothing. Any idea how to fix this?
I'm having a similar issue; when the mindfulness session audio is finished it just... Stops. Doesn't prompt for how I'm feeling or formally finish and log the session. I have to go "back" to return to the mindfulness menu manually. I've tried restarting my phone, clearing the app cache, and doing a full restart of the app.
I only ever managed to log a single session several days ago. Today I tried and failed to log a session about 4 times.
UPDATE:
I've now noticed that the last two days I've tried mindfulness, while it hasn't popped up a dialogue box to let me "complete" the session by specifying my mood etc., I do have an Android *notification* that I can tap to complete the session, which seems to do the right thing; but I still think the intent is for that not to be necessary, as I'm sure the first time I tried this feature, it popped up with a "Complete" button automatically.
Additionally, sometimes it seems to take a bit to register my heart rate. That is, while initially it sometimes says that no heart rate data was recorded for my session, when I go back to check later, it has filled this in with what my heart rate was at the time.
I have not had a problem opening or closing a session, but stopped getting the heart rate info. Thanks for the tip. I did find my heart info after the fact. It was in the tracking for Mindfulness in the Journey tab. However, I do hope they restore the immediate info. Who wants an extra step when you’ve just finished de-stressing😎.
Same. It just stopped working last week.
I've had a Charge 4 for about 3 months now and it was working perfectly and then yesterday it stopped tracking my heart rate during mindfulness.
It's not showing me the data later, either, although it does do that for workouts. it doesn't track my workouts until about 20 minutes afterwards.
I have a new versa3 and the heartrate tracking during mindfulness sessions is intermittent. I have one days when it tracked everything, and the last 6 sessions - no heartrate data, no matter how long or short the meditation session is.
Would be nice if someone from Fitbit addressed this, since people a couple of hundred pounds on their devices.
