I have the "Fitbit Sync Service - Last Synced: ..." notification on my phone. It does not swipe to dismiss. I want to dismiss it; I do not want to disable these notifications. How? Swiping reveals a cog, and that gives me the options "Turn off notifications," which I don't want, and "Done," which does nothing.
My Fitbit has had unreliable syncing, so I want to get these notifications. I don't want to disable them. I just want to be able to dismiss them so they aren't taking up screen real estate, and I want to be notified when the sync happens next.
I saw other community threads and docs that explained how to disable these notifications. I do not want to disable them. I want to dismiss them.
An Internet search on "how to dismiss stuck Android notifications" returns pages on how to disable them entirely. I've seen none that show how to just dismiss the notification until the next event.
Unless I've missed something obvious, this sounds like a bug in the Fitbit app. Why make a permanent non-dismissable notification about sync status?

I don't have this notification. Maybe I turned it off, since I find no reason for it.
