Hi there @RajeshRavella. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your Blaze to sync with your Huawei Mate 9.

Upon checking the list of compatible devices for syncing, it seems that the Huawei Mate 9 is not a compatible device for syncing. I'd say this is the reason why your tracker is not syncing even when it did sync before.

For phones that are not on the list of compatible devices, you might be able to sync with them but we don't guarantee that the functionality will be optimum as we are still testing on these phone models and due to the large number of Android and Windows devices, our team has not yet tested all of them.

Thank you for your comprehension with this and if you have more questions, let me know and I'll be happy to help!

Ps. I've moved your post to the Android app board for categorization purposes

Hello

And the question is when will it be compatible?

I have a Huawei mate 9 and and a fitbit blaze and I have this problem.

What about the fitbit versa? Is it compatible?

Best regards

Hi @Thetightuser! Good to see you in the Forums too! 🙂

As I stated above, due to the big amount of phones that are not compatible, our team has not tested them all (including the Huawei Mate 9) and we don't have any news on when specific models will be compatible. Most of the compatibility problems are due to Hardware/software limitations on the phones, not directly with the Fitbit trackers, so that would answer your question on if the Versa is compatible or not. It is compatible for the phones listed as compatible devices unless specified otherwise.

Any other question you may have, let me know!

So it is better to change smartwatch company. It is the solution that fitbit offers. Since... It is limitation of the phone hardware.

Good answer.

Fitbit should focus on the app more wisely, Should focus on OS compatibilities instead of just making sure to limited devices only. Otherwise  fitbit no more relevant in market, no one willing to buy, as it is not value for the money we paid. When we upgrade devices time to time we make sure app compatibilities but not whether my smartwatch supports or not.

Huawei using latest OS Oreo. My cousins Samsung Gear work perfectly with my Mate 9.

Why not fitbit focus on such enhancements.

Why not predefined exact OS versions and Bluetooth radio standards and announce as compatibility requirements, instead of leaving end users in dark. So that you are Leaving out to end users to check compatibility when they change handphones.

Once again funny. Garmin released sw 5.0 and I recived a message to update... Because there was a crítical update because of Huawei phones.

....

In the other hand, fitbit just say it is phone hardware/software limitations.

...

Can you please just do something or does it need to be voted as a suggestion?

Any idea if the company will add the Mate 9 as a compatible device? It's really frustrating not being able to sync all of my info on my phone app. Not everyone can afford $1000 cell phones. Can you please work on an alternative to this issue? Thanks

Hi there guys, good to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

Unfortunately, I don't have any update on the process of making this phone compatible.

If I have any update, I'll be sure to let you guys know. Also, keep an eye on the list of compatible devices for more information.

Thank you all for your comprehension!
