Huawei P10 / P10 Lite/Plus Compatibility

After buying a Charge 2,  which wasn't pairing to any device, I got a new one at the store to try again. Still my Huawei P10 would not pair, so I paired it to my girlfriends Samsung.

I would appreciate it if I could be informed if pairing with a Huawei p10 is possible in the future.

Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! At the moment there is no confirmation that the Huawei models P10/ P10 Lite/Plus would be compatible. All your feedback has been compiled and shared with our teams to consider this in the future.

Due to the large number of Android devices, Fitbit has not yet tested all models available in the market. If a device is not listed on fitbit.com/devices, this means we haven’t yet tested to guarantee its functionality in relation with the Fitbit tracker. For more details, please visit the following article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Since there are no further updates regarding this topic, I have proceed to close this thread. If you are experiencing any additional issue that is not caused by incompatibility reasons, feel free to open a new topic.

Hello there,

I have read the compatibility list (for the record, is ridiculously short as well as it's ridiculous that a 300€ smartwatch has a compatibility list) and I have noticed that the Ionic is not compatible with Huawei P10 Lite.

Now, I am coming from the Fitbit Surge characterized by a flawed design. In less than 1 year it have been replaced one because wrist band broke (under warranty) and then it showed a new problem with battery. I decided to buy the best in the Fitbit class, showing confidence in this company and betting € 300 that would be able to address problems in time (flawed design happens).

I have see a lot of post here currently closed saying that P10 Lite has minimum requirement (e.g at least BLE aka Bluetooth 4.0) and that maybe developer will fix this. That was one year ago when product was young. After one year here I am seeing nothing is changed.

You are doing an amazing work with feature and stuff but if you don't address sync problem soon I will be another customer which will throw out of the window both my Aria, my Surge, my Ionic and my Charge moving to something else. As you can see I have at least 4 good reason to stay but it starts to not be enough.

As user, an announcement with real plans and approximate deadline for unsupported phones would be a good starting point,

As embedded sw developer, you should find a bluetooth specialist.

It seems the situation is different with the Huawei "lite" phones. Fitbit say:

"Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent Huawei Lite models, including P8 and P9 Lite, from syncing with some devices, like Fitbit devices, our products are not compatible with these mobile phones."

Based on that it sounds like there won't be any support for the P10 Lite for the foreseeable future.
