I just received the Fitbit Ionic as a gift and I am having issues with my watch syncing to my phone. I have restarted the watch several times and this doesn't work. I also performed the setup several times and it will work for few minutes and will not sync again. I reviewed everything that was related to the resolution of this problem but nothing is helping. Please advise.

Hello @peprice.
Congratulations on your new Ionic.
This might be happening because the Note 8 is not on the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone and thus issues like this are to be expected. I'd like to mention that a Note 8.0 shows on the list but it is referring to a tablet that was released a number of years ago.
As long as the phone fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a chance that they will work correctly however we cannot guarantee it. Having said that, some users have mentioned that following these steps has helped them get their phones not on the list to sync and work correctly. Maybe you could give it a shot.
