Ionic not receiving notifications from to Galaxy S6

To save time and space, I have complete many of the other steps from other threads. Phone is updated, bluetooth is updated, Ionic was bought yesterday, it synced during initial setup and still syncs, and it will pair but not be the connected device. The problem I am facing, is the Ionic will not sync to my phone via bluetooth and therefore is not receiving any notifications from my phone.

Hi there @AndrewJay, awesome to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! I was reading your post but I'm wondering if the issue is limited only to not receiving notifications from your phone or is also not syncing?

I saw you have made sure to follow all the recommendations and reviewed your app and firmware is updated. Nonetheless, we have released a new version for the Fitbit app recently that might not be installed in your phone. For more details review the following post.

In addition, try to reset the Fitbit app by doing the following: log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

As a matter of review, refer to this post in case there is something additional to try: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).

See you around and hope this helps.
