Ionic not syncing with S8

Hello, 

I have the fitbit ionic and I have an android (Samsung Galaxy S8). 2 days ago I accidentally left my fitbit at home while I was at work all day so of course the connection was lost between the two. Since then I've been trying to sync it to the app and nothing seems to be working. I've turned my bluetooth on and off, closed out of the app, and restarted my fitbit like one of the articles had said to do and it still hasn't synced yet.

It is possible that restarting the connection between the two will help get this  to work. Try to remove the Ionic from your S8's Bluetooth list, and then set it up again so that it will sync. 

 

I'm sure that everything will work correctly after that.
