Hi LG users! Welcome to your own thread!

Thanks a lot for providing feedback on your syncing/setup experience. The best way we can look into these issues with our specialists and developers is by knowing the following information:

  • Device Manufacturer
  • Device Model
  • Android OS Version
  • Fitbit App Version
  • Error Message on the Fitbit App

Remeber, if you're experiencing issues, please try the troubleshoots in the main thread.

Of course, this is completely voluntary. We appreciate the time you've taken to provide us with any/all information provided. :smileyhappy:

UPDATE 7/31/2015: Hi Everyone!

Our Engineering Team is continuing to look into the syncing, setup, and call/text notifications issues some of our users have reported on their Android devices. I would greatly appreciate your help in capturing information about the issue you are experiencing by filling out a short survey. The information captured in this survey will be shared directly with our engineers so they may have a better understanding of what you are experiencing, on specific devices, and specific operating system versions.

I want to thank everyone who will take time to fill out this survey as the data may help to better your experience!

I noticed that the LG G4 is not on the list of compatible phones to sync with the FitBit Charge HR for call/text notifications.  I can verify this feature isn't working on my phone.   It's running Android 5.1 Lollipop.  When will this be a device added to your list?   I was really looking forward to this feature when I got my Fit Bit for Christmas.

@ktotheristen78I don't have a timeframe to share with you as to when the G4 will be added to the list of supported Android devices, but I can assure you that once it has been fully tested by our engineering team it will be updated and posted into the list. I suggest keeping an eye for it here. Catch ya later.

Everyday there it's a new issue. Today the app won't even open!

I had my Charge HR working fine with the LG Tribute.  Then, I turned off all-day sync, and now it will not work.  Unfortunately, to turn on the call notification button, it falls below my phone screen, and I cannot scroll the screen or get to the button to turn it on.   Is there anyway to set that call notification button within the fitbit software on a computer?  I really want my call notifications back!

My call notification button is now off (I turned off all-day sync) and I cannot get to the button now.  Screen won't scroll to it.  Grrr

<Cntrl>- might let you shrink the display enough to hit the button. Obviously a dumb design of the app, but...

Reinstalling the software now. I will give that a try - Thanks!

Just to make sure that was clear: that's the Cntrl key plus the minus key (usually to the right of the zero key). That should make the screen smaller in any modern browser.

Sorry to be pedantic, but on rereading it wasn't necessarily obvious to ME, and I wrote it! Nothing worse than getting a solution that sounds right, and then you're not sure you understand what it means...

That's not the answer. Instead, leave Fitbit and open Android settings.
Scroll down to Security, select, then scroll down to Notifications. Select
it & select the Fitbit option. There you go.

If your not able to scroll down then go into your phones settings - display - set the screen to a higher resolution. This would be the same problem with a pc and too low a resolution

I cannot get an input or ctrl key open on that page. Thanks

Yes! Thank you; that worked.  Never would have found that on my own, so many, many thanks.

I don't know how to mark this "SOLVED",  but it is.

@LakeGirl21@phs3 To follow @Rich_Laue recommendation, seems like the font on your Android settings may be too large and is hiding the button and rest of text instructions. Try changing your font size in your Android settings, as that message should look like this:

CallNotif.png

Once you click on the "Enable Notifications" pink button, your phone will automatically take you to the Notifications Access menu in your Android device where you should toggle ON the "Fitbit Notification Service," as shown here. Hope this helps.

Oh, DOH, I was thinking this was on the PC app, not the Android app (despite the topic). Sorry and nevermind!

Looking at upgrading to a LG 5.  I don't see that it is compatible.  What does that mean.  Will I not be able to use the Fitbit app at all on the phone or just the text, etc stuff

@mar915 it means to do your research, search the forums, maybe try and get the Fitbit app installed on the demo phone.

Just bought the Verizon LG G3 today and it wont sync.  I was having no problem with my Galaxy S4.  This is very irritating.
