Hi there.
Today I went for a long, panoramic hike. I tracked all the way using the fitbit app, as I cannot use the connected GPS feature of my tracker, as fitbits don't connect to android.
I stopped the track, I saw it tracked everything correctly, and waited. And waited. And waited.
I could see it in the list of exercises but if I clicked on it, the map didn't show.
Back at home I used an old tower pc to sync the fitbit and then bam! The track is lost. LOST. I needed it to make a video of the trail I ran. But there's no way to see it on the app nor on the website. Even on the list it's not there anymore.
Where is it? How do I recover it?

Hi, @luca85! Did you happen to pause the track at some point? It's been a long standing glitch (over a year) that if you pause your GPS tracking on android, once it finishes, it won't actually save the activity.

that really stinks. That's just happened to me today on a bike ride. And yes I paused it in the middle for just a second by accident. Otherwise it's been tracking most my bicycle rides just fine. At least I know not to hit the pause button during a hike a walk or a bike ride.

Yes, of course I paused it. It was a day long hike with lunch breaks, not a short run.
What do you mean "it's a known issue that's been around for more than a year"? HAve they seriously been ignoring the problem for so long? How do I recover the track?
