Is the lg v20 able to connect for text messages and such?

It's a brand new phone so wasn't sure why I couldn't get it to connect.

A warm welcome to the Community @Xbrooklynx! Currently, LG V20 isn't listed as a supported mobile device. However, Fitbit is always trying to add new devices to the list.

Additionally, I've noticed that some users are able to sync their trackers with phones even though they aren't listed as supported. You might want to give it a try.

Thanks for your understanding! Robot Happy

Allow me to help you @Krsann! As mentioned before it's not possible to sync Fitbit trackers with LG V20 because it's not a supported device yet.

You may want to vote for this idea LG V20. Fitbit is always adding new devices to the list and those suggestions are viewed by our engineers and developers.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hey Everyone! I've moved the thread to this board because it's more related to the topic. Currently, this phone isn't listed as supported. However, Fitbit is always adding new devices to the list. Don't forget to keep checking it.

Just got this today and so far so good. My issue is that I came from Samsung to the LG because even though I loved the sung I got tired of buying a new one within a month or two of paying off the old one. So I went with LGV20. Hate it.....Hate it...Can't create groups to group text (I have work teams to manage) and a few other issues now I can add this issue to my list. So do we return our new Blaze for something else that connects or will a fix come out soon?

Thanks for stopping by @Rekonn31! Fitbit is always testing new devices to be added to the list. Currently, I don't have any information about when this list is going to be updated. However, you can keep an eye on the list of supported devices.

Thanks for your understanding and patience.

It's great to have you here @Marete! I apologize if my reply sounds repetitive, it's not my intention. I don't have any news about when this phone will be added that's why I haven't shared anything with you yet. My solution will be to keep checking the list as I said before.

Thank you so much for your understanding.

Hello,

Are there plans to add the LG V20 to the supported devices list? I was hoping to avoid purchasing a similar product that would be supported by my phone. I love my Fitbit, and I don't want to part with it!

It's great to see new faces on the Community @Maazie13@mmr0202 and @Krsann! I've noticed that some mobile devices will sync with Fitbit even if they aren't supported yet. So, it may sync.

Rest assure that Fitbit is always adding new devices to the list

Thanks for your understanding. Have a great week.

I have been unable to act since I purchased the phone last week. That is
why I searched out for information. Unless there is another reason it won't
sync to my new phone.

Remember if you haven't done so to go to the thread I'm leaving the address for below and like at the top by the topic. That causes this thread to be moved up in priority. Some people may not have an issue with it syncing or doing certain things. Oddities mine with grab GPS and sync that kind of work out, but the daily syncing for steps trends to be very hit or miss. We need to up vote the thread below so that this device becomes supported since until that happens we will not have guaranteed syncing. Bother any of your friends to come up vote it too.

Hey there @Beckydonald! This phone isn't listed as supported yet. So, that's the reason why it's not showing notifications. We've heard that some users may be able to have notifications working but I can't confirm it will work all the time.

It's great to have you here @Temslove! I do appreciate that you're posting the Feature Suggestion here, so users can vote for it. However, there's not specific time frame about when this will be implemented. Fitbit is always trying to add more devices but first they test them so it once it's on the list there won't be any issues with it.

Thanks for your understanding.
