I am using android app version 3.4.2 on an Android 5 phone. Since your latest update I cannot get my current heart rate to display on the app. All I have is the resting rate for the day.
I have never had this problem before and weirdly enough I can get it using version 2.63 on my Kindle fire.
Why is it whenever you do an update you mess up something on other versions. I am unable to update any further, fitbit have seen to that so will they please stop interfering with what was working.

Did yours ever start working again? I’ve had the same problem since June too. The only thing I find that works is manually closing the app. Then it works when I sync on reopening the app. But it stops working after I next leave the app. It’s so annoying!! When I’m at the gym I like to see my live heart rate in the app so I don’t have to keep looking at my wrist.

Hi @Laurface, mine has started again as mysteriously as it stopped. I normally have Bluetooth off when I turn it on and eventually get it to synch if I open the heart rate tracking and then go back to the "front page" the little heart is animated and showing my current rate. But I have to keep it on that to keep it animated. The display time on the watch isn't long enough if you want to see how long it takes to recover from something.
I don't think fitbits messing about with the synching recently is necessarily having the desired effects across the board.
