Logged Steps While Sleeping

My Charge 2 logged about 4,000 steps while I was sleeping!  I am not a sleep walker, but I DID have restless legs for a while.  If my Fitbit did this, how can I take some steps off?

Hello @Foodkop, good to see you around in the Fitbit Community! Certainly this is not a normal behavior and I don't believe restless leg will produce this amount of steps. In either case this would display as restless time and not as steps. Is this happening on a daily basis?

If this is the first time it would not hurt to review the settings of your sleep section and make sure is not in sensitive your tracker.

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap or click Advanced Settings > Sleep Sensitivity.

A restart on your tracker might help too, so in case of being necessary give it a try. The following post will show you how in case you need help.

To remove steps the process is the same when you are driving. You can find more help in the following post.

See you around and hope this helps.
