Main goal not changing since 2 updates ago

Hello,

Since, not the last update, but the one before - about a month ago, the main goal showing in the android app is steps. Under my charge 3 settings, its showing calories. I had it set to calories from a while ago. I changed it to steps and synced, changed it back to calories and synced, and it still shows steps on the mail goal. Tried restarting my fitbit, restarting my phone, switched bluetooth off and back on to make sure its a totally new connection. Either which way, the mail goal showing on my phone is still steps.

Any ideas? Does anyone else have a similar issue?

Hi @MikeRK, I'm glad to see you here again. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information, as well for providing a screenshot of the Fitbit app. If you refer to the steps tiles showing up at the top of the dashboard, let me share that while that's the default order, it'll not represent your main goal. To edit the tiles in your preferred order, please do the following:

  1. Open the Fitbit app, scroll down and tap on "Edit".
  2. Hold and drag the calories tile to a new location.
  3. If you'd like to hide a tile, just tap on the -  icon in the top left corner of that tile.
  4. Tap on Done to save the changes.

Keep me posted.

Hi @MikeRK, welcome to the Community Forums. It's nice to see a new member around!

Thank you for providing these details, as well for the steps performed. Nice way to go! This sounds odd, and let's work on this together. Just to confirm, by Charge 3's settings, do you mean in the Fitbit app? If you've not done so, please try the following steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Then, go to the previous screen and tap on force stop.
  4. Reboot your phone and open the Fitbit app.
  5. Tap on the Account icon > Charge 3 > Main Goal and change it to calories.
  6. Sync your device. Then check if the changes stay correct.

If the issue persists, let me know your phone's model and the Android version. Also, please provide me with a screenshot showing the main goal settings to look into this. For instructions to attach a reply, check this post.

Let me know how it goes! Woman Happy
