Manual weight entry not accepting stones

Since latest update when I enter my weight it will not accept stones. From setting changed to kg that works. Set back to stones only option to input is pounds when entering new weight. Same on both android devices i use tried logging out and in, reset all devices too no change

I updated and it worked fine, next day it was back to broke again.  Update, it works, then the next day it doesn't. Do I have to update every time I want to use the thing?

Can you explain how you came to break it in the first place?  And 4.35 it STILL not available in the play store in the UK, which is where the most users have a problem I suspect

This update includes a fix for the issue with weight entry not allowing stones. This update has been released for all our members. If you don't see it yet, check the Play Store later and install it as soon as it becomes available for you.

Thanks update,  mine was updated.on Jan 8th and still only registered as lbs.

It's so frustrating and time wasting to keep checking back for updates!

Do we have to wait for the update to become available?

Hi I have updated to 4.35 I went into weight settings and it let me change it to stone. I then went to enter my weight and it was still in lbs

Hi Lizzy

Since your update my Fitbit app will now accept stones and pounds. However, I have to go to settings every time I log on and change settings to stones and pounds. Then when I close it, it defaults back to only pounds again. This is so annoying. Am I doing something wrong? Suzie

Why is the fabled v3.5 not available in the UK, where I assume most of
those having a problem live. Why is it that the currently available
version works fine when first installed but reverts to broken the day
after. And why the contempt for those if us using pounds and stones shown
by the release of the broken update?

In fact this latest update has stopped the work around I was using of theh widget direct to the weight entry screen to get back to the old weight entry screen.  I now need to hold down on the icon to get to it 😞

So they have just made it even worse not better!

Still no got yet either but my wife has received it. No idea how updates are rolled out by Google, who happens to own fitbit, but very frustrating that UK users being made to wait so long to get a working App. Feels like Google and Fitbit do not care about UK market to me

This has been going on for months, they say it is getting fixed but no
evidence so far. Looking for another app at moment, so fed up with it. Now
I have to log in every time as logs me out 😏

I wonder if perhaps your settings have defaulted to pounds? Maybe check

Update now worked yesterday now again not recognising stones ans pounds, brand new updated samsung

Lindsey, no, my weight is displayed as stones/pounds but entry is only
allowed in pounds. Fitbit have know about this since before Xmas. Updating
the app, and uninstall/reinstalling fixes it for a day, but then it
reverts.

Eureka. I may have solved it. the weight entry bit shows weight* in one box
with an empty box next to it for data entry. But that one only takes
pounds. If you, accidentally, click the box with weight* in it opens to
reveal a box to input stones into. Go figure
