Hello everyone!
@Brycehall Welcome to the forums. I am glad to read that your Moto G6 works fine with your Fitbit Versa 2. As long as an Android device meets the requirements (click here), it will sync with Fitbit devices. Thanks for letting us know. Have a nice day!

Hi @Maryirene. The Moto g6 is not on the list of Supported Devices. But that does not mean it won’t work. It just may not give you all the features. Try setting it up. Contact Support. They may have more current information. I hope it works for you. The Versa is my favorite Fitbit device!

@Maryirene Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your aren't able to sync your Versa with your Moto G6. As @SunsetRunner said your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
Let me know how it goes!

I have been using Versa with the Moto G6 since mid November with no problems. Even the latest firmware update didn’t cause a problem. It can be made to work. Sorry I don’t have advice beyond what you are trying. My first step would be to delete and reinstall the Fitbit app on the phone. Hope someone will answer with some good advice for you because it can work. Unfortunately, my experience is that if you call Fitbit customer service all they do is read a script saying the phone is not on the compatible list.

This is so disappointing. I will definitely not be getting another Fitbit when this one dies. It is a very popular phone and a great affordable phone.

I totally agree. The last 'approved' Moto devices on the compatibility list are from 2014. Totally unacceptable from a company this big for a device with a price tag of $200. Spent 4+ hours doing all of the tricks suggested and still can't connect to wifi, although the router sees it as a device and gave it an IP address. Will be returning this one and getting a different brand!!!

Chat agent took forever to finally get to the point of telling me the phone wasn't compatible then told me that that didn't mean it wouldn't be able to work and would I like him to help me with troubleshooting. Why did he think I might want help when I was contacting chat to get help? Returned the watch to Costco.

It sucks! And it's unacceptable in company this big. I'm returning my Versa this week.

It is surprising that it has been a year since a user brought this issue to the community's attention and the Versa 2 is still not compatible with the Motorola g(6).

After trying on and off for 8 hrs and close to router, I walked closer to the 2.4 g extender for wifi. Hooked right up. So if you are using one of these boosters, stand by it and not the router.

i had sync issue with moto g6, it appears that insurance tracking app on my phone was blocking bluetooth signal. As soon as I switched off insurance program it started working.
