My Fitbit no longer connects with myfitnesspal. How do I fix this?

Hi,

 

I just tried this and it worked for me:

 

Go to the myfitnesspal WEBSITE and log in.  Go to the 'Apps' tab and disconnect your Fitbit in there.  Log out of the website.

 

Go to your myfitnesspal APP and log out. 

 

Go to your Fitbit app and log out.

 

I took a call then so had to wait about 10 mins.  I don't know if a wait is necessary. 

 

Go to your Fitbit app and log back in.

 

Go to your myfitnesspal app and log back in.  Go to the 'Apps and devices' menu in settings and reconnect the Fitbit app.  Refresh the app a couple of times in the settings menu.

 

After refreshing, the 2 apps were synced in myfitnesspal.  I went then to the Fitbit app and refreshed that and both apps were synced to each other.

I'm having this problem too...

I've tried many combinations of deleting, disconnecting and reinstalling but no luck so far...

Hi

 

Thank you very very much for your post as I have just followed the step by step process and FINALLY both the MFP & Fitbit app has finally synced! Now I can properly start tracking my calories and intake!!!
