I agree I think it is horrible what they have done to us. They don't seem to care

Hi, I upgraded to the new Fitbit App and whilst I quite enjoy the layout I am experiencing issues with 'Device Not Found'. Sometimes it connects and syncs but the majority of the time it doesn't and I've tried everything. Any ideas when this issue will be addressed? Thanks x

Like so many others, my One stopped syncing. Never saw a new update. Very frustrated.

Issues, issues, issues, always issues.
* Can't start challenges - force stop, clear cache, restart phone, delete app, restart phone, reinstall app. The first time I reinstalled app, it did fix my ability to create a challenge, but then the option disappeared again.
* the one challenge I did start, none of my friends showed activity.
* My personal best stats are incorrect
* It's really hard to tell the difference between active challenges and challenges that have ended.
Without a doubt, this app is, and has been, the most glitchy and frustrating daily use apps on my phone! If it weren't for my fitbit friends, I would've ditched fitbit after my 4th tracker! So many issues, all the time. Oh, and did I mention the update a few years back that crashed my phone while on vacation and had to get a new one! 😡
*********** 9/3 U P D A T E ***********
I can now start challenges again (miraculously)! All of my friends still show being inactive though. Since half of my friends have already left fitbit, I have no idea who not to add/invite. I started a Daily Showdown yesterday and invited 40+ friends - 7 joined - maybe the rest have already made the switch.
*********** 9\8 U P D A T E **********
Well, FITBIT GIVETH AND FITBIT TAKETH AWAY! I once again can no longer start challenges. Forced stopped app, cleared cache, forced stopped app - still nada! What will happen tomorrow? Tune in to find out, on "The Fitbit and the Restless"!

My fit bit will not sync. Company sent me a new one and it will not sync either. I am getting tired of this

This update messed up my ionic also, I am training for a marathon and it's the worst time for your tracker to go down. Where is the quality control on this. I have done everything from resetting, Factory defaulting and removing and adding device. Spent countless hours on it.

Already sharing the disappointment of my Fitbit with others... highly considering another tracker when I was once, perfectly happy with my new Charge 3!

I like the old app better. I had 3 boxes/tiles that showed the things that I was most interested in at a glance. Now only 1 fits on the display on my phone and I must scroll down. Then I must tap on one of them to get the graph that I used to see in the old app. This is NOT more efficient and NOT user friendly. I also resent that this upgrade was forced upon me. I did not get the opportunity to refuse to upgrade. More and more I am becoming unhappy with the fitbit experience. Thinking of switching brands instead of upgrading to a more expensive or newer fitbit.

The app looks great, but it's a little useless if all of us are having issues with syncing devices. And it's definitely not isolated cases, as there's whole threads on the issue.

Well done Fitbit - since the app has been updated I, like many others, have had nothing but problems. My versa is now useless as it will not sync, in fact the app says it cannot find my device. I have done absolutely everything suggested, restarted my phone and versa more times than I care to count, done a factory reset, reconnected Bluetooth etc and nothing works. Don't tell me to buy another either because that just says the update is a rubbish scam to get people to buy more fitbits! I've had mine less than a year - it was a birthday present from my fiance. Really need answer's now.

What I like; it is easier on the eyes, it is syncing better, and I can now see the actual percentage of battery life.
What I don't like; the heart rate is ONLY showing the resting heart rate and not the actual heart rate, and things that were turned on by default cannot be turned off.
I bought my Fitbit to help keep track of my heart rate. What is the point of showing me a stagnant resting heart rate?
Being able to move things up and down is all well and good, however, when there are things that I don't want at all that I cannot turn off is not good at all.
The display is tight enough as it is. Let me get rid of what I do not want or need - even though you turned it on by default.

Since the app changed a few weeks ago (without warning, thanks Fitbit), I'm having this problem:
I walk for 30 minutes. In the "active minutes" counter, the Fitbit app says I walked for 30 minutes. 30 minutes of walking should count as one day that I exercised. However, the app still shows ZERO days of exercise, in spite of my 30 minute walk. This now happens about eight of ten times that I exercise.
In order to get credit for my "day of exercise," I then have to add my 30 minutes walk manually to the "days of exercise" screen, but guess what? Now the main "active minutes" counter says I was active for 30 minutes more than I actually was! ~~ WHAT AN EXCELLENT DESIGN "FEATURE" ~~
(Also, to add walking or swimming time I have to tell the app how FAR I went - annoying!!!)
I have tried forcing the app to quit, logging out and logging back in, forcingtheapptoquitloggingoutrebootingmyphone ETC ETC ETC. NOTHING WORKS. I really hate this new app, it adds absolutely JACK to my Fitbit experience and is just giving me headaches now.
Is there anywhere to download the old version of the Android app? It was so much more reliable.
EDITED TO ADD: a Google search resolved my question about installing an older version of the app... It is possible although Fitbit won't allow me to post the link. I rolled back to version 2.70 which is the old format. Will see tomorrow if this solves my problem.

My One will not pair with the new version of the app. It is now a useless device until the app works again.

Bluetooth is a whole problem in and of itself. Shortly after the latest firmware came out, my Bluetooth Charge 3 will not stay connected via Bluetooth - although it remains connected to the app.
I have removed my Charge 3 from Bluetooth, cleared the Bluetooth cache, restarted my phones and then went to pair a new device. Well, my Bluetooth either sees a Charge 3 and will not pair, or it will see a Versa and will pair to that. The pairing last maybe 2 hours at most and then the connection no longer functions.

Ever since new update I cannot sync. If it does sync it seems by accident. I have had my flex for probably 5 yrs or more n never had issues there are multiple reports of the same issue. Received a canned answer from support today. I should not have to force stop app, reset fitbit or hard sync or guess at a pattern of trying to get it to work. I bought a new flex thinking mine being old was the problem b4 looking at all the problems within the users n that didn't work.i hope they will fix the issues. So for me ever since the update in late August my fitbit is worthless

OK, my watch stopped working a few weeks back. Battery lasting about 3 hours and no heart rate at all.
Updated the firmware and heart rate returned but again, battery lasting just a few hours.
Updated the app and was brilliant. First long charge of the watch and it lasted 9 days on battery!!!
But what happened 3 days ago?
Since Saturday 31st, my calls all appear to be from one person on the watch. No matter who is calling, it shows the same name.
And now the battery has lasted just 3 days, on 25% as I go I to my 4th day.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
It's been working the best I've ever seen it for quite a few weeks, and no its back to the old buggy poor performance.
Sort it out.
I bought my Mrs a galaxy watch during the earlier problems and hers is excellent.
You will be losing customer at a rapid rate as there are better options on the market

Do not like new format. Also, ever since the new format, my fitbit no longer will sync. I have not been able to use it for two days
