First, let me share with you that the Moto Z2 Force is not a supported mobile device at this moment, but this doesn’t prevent you from syncing as you can always sync using a computer by download Fitbit Connect. I’ll recommend to check this post which explains how to download our Fitbit app in your computer as an alternate syncing option if your mobile device is not listed as compatible. Although your mobile device is not listed, syncing and other features might work and other could experience some difficulties. This could be the cause of your inquiry regarding notifications.
I recommend you to periodically check our list of compatible devices. Also, to keep an eye to Google Play store for any app updates.
