Ever since upgrading to the full release version of Oreo I have to keep turning the bluetooth off and back on again to get the fitbit app to sync with my fitbit one - firmware 6.60.
This is annoying, especially if I'm connected to other bluetooth devices for other work.
This worked perfectly with Android 7.x , so this is something new.
I upgraded to the latest beta just now, with no improvements - so this is still an issue.

Hello @Codfather, good to see you are visiting our Fitbit Community to bring this issue to our attention.
Indeed, the new update of the Android OS is pretty much new and there are a few reports of some difficulties with features of the Fitbit app, although are isolated issues already. At the moment the scenario you have mentioned is not considered a glitch from the app, so I believed is more a communication error. My initial recommendation is to try the following: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).
I'm going to share this information with my teammates to look further in to this.
See you around and let me know if you have more questions.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have indeed upgraded to the latest app , but no real progress on a solution. I still have to stop and start the bluetooth on the phone, and then the sync works. Unless I do that it, fitbit will just not sync to the app.
This is definitely an Android Oreo/fitbit app issue, was working fine before the upgrade.
