No Mobile Track on Huawei P10

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just bought the Huawei P10 (one of the most sold Android Smartphones according to google and Amazon) and reinstalled my Fitbit App. Now I tried to set it up for Mobile Track to track my steps again and what do i notice? No Mobile Track...

There is a Step counter on my lock screen. What is keeping fitbit from taking that count and just using it?

Hi @Raiden, nice to see you again in the Fitbit Community! In this case there are two factors regarding using MobileTrack in your Huawei P10.

This phone has not been listed among our Compatible devices yet, which mean the Fitbit app is not optimized to work under the specifications of these mobile phones and certain features may not work as is  expected. Previous versions of Huawei phones, has shown issues with the Bluetooth that doesn't allow the Fitbit tracker be compatible. For more details, please review our article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

The other reason is that not all phones regardless of being compatible are able to support this feature. MobileTrack lets you use the Fitbit app without a Fitbit device by using your phone's sensors to track basic activity data including steps, distance, and calories burned. MobileTrack does not track floors, sleep, or active minutes. For this is require certain specification for this feature works.

Since Huawei P10 has not been tested, I do not have further details if this feature is going to be supported in the future. If new information becomes available, we will be posting this in updates in our help articles or our Fitbit Community.

See you around!

Seeing as I just got a Mail about marking helpful responses to my question I have to say this answers is not helping me at all.

I don't want to pair my Tracker, I therefor don't want to use any Bluetooth, I don't want to count floors, I simply want to use the already included Stepcounter which is clearly shown on my Lockscreen as well as the Huawei Health App to be usable inside my Fitbit App. Hell I would transfer the Stepcount manually at the End of the day if that was possible inside the app.

Well looks like I have to start looking for a new App and fitness ecosystem in the future.

+1 for Huawei P10/20 support. I don't see why basic function such as steps counter are not supported in popular branch and model such as Huawei P10 or P20 using MobileTrack?
