No Mobile track for Top Tear Android devices

I have just been informed by support that my Samsung Note 8 is unable to use mobile track ... because of its chipset?? lol Same chipset that almost all android flagships use! And that they have no plans to add it.

I am positive it used to be there but the support tech said it never has been. (I actually have evidence that it was because my ap tracked me on a recent foreign trick when i didnt have my actual fitbit)

Just thought those waiting for an answer to this would like to see the official responce.

When a Fitbit tracker is not in use or available as an alternative, MobileTrack is a feature that uses the internal sensors of your phone to track your basic data. Despite all Android devices share core specifications, not all are able to support this feature for the same reason that your phone becomes the tracker.

This makes no sense whatsoever ... Note 8 is a Flagship device and other software like samsung health, google fit, moves, garmin, etc can all use its internal sensors.

Either way, the continued building of a 'walled garden' from fit bit pushed me over to Garmin.
