I wonder if someone could help. I'm currently using my fitbit charge 3 with the Huawei y7. It's paired and connected but I have to go into the app to keep syncing the watch and phone. Messages and calls aren't coming through to the watch. Steps aren't going to my app until I have manually synced the devices.

Let me help you syncing your Charge 3 with your phone. Check that there isn't any battery saver option enabled that may turn off the Fitbit app. If this is the case then the app won't be able to sync in the background or when the screen is off. You can also check these instructions.
