There is no health metric tile in my Charge 5. Software is up to date. Android ver.8. United States location.

@Dave121 Welcome to the forums. I will gladly help you regarding the health metrics tile on your Fitbit app. Please apologize the delayed response.
I suggest you try the following. Open the Fitbit app. On the right corner, tap on "EDIT". This will show every element on the Today dashboard with and "X" on them. Scroll all the way down to the bottom. There will be shown the elements that are "hidden". These appear with a "+" sign instead. Tap on the "+" sign in order for this tile to be shown.
If the health metrics tile was not "hidden" and is still not shown, please make sure that your Fitbit app is up to date. Try logging out from your account and back in. That way everything will load again on the app.
