No map showing with Connected GPS

I'm using an S8.

 

Walk mode shows "Connected GPS".

In the app there is no map icon or menu.

Hello @SunsetRunner, I saw you are new in the Fitbit Community, so let me give you a warm welcome! I'm wondering if only the map is missing or the other details are not showing too?

 

If you are able to see your exercise details as a normal activity with no map, make sure the Connected GPS is able to maintain a stable connection.

 

A weak GPS signal can be caused by environmental factors such as tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, or even thick cloud cover. All of these factors can interrupt the connection between your tracker and GPS satellites. Make sure your phone can identify your location and can track your location when you're not using Wi-Fi. Also consider the Fitbit app is open on your phone or running in the background. Do not force quit the Fitbit app.

 

If you're still having difficulty, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app to reestablish a connection with your tracker.
  2. Reboot your mobile device.
