What type of fitbit do you have?
Have notifications just stopped or have they never worked?

Did you go through the notifications setup ok as documented here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1979/ ?
If that went ok and the troubleshooting guide hasn't helped then it's maybe best to contact customer support: contact.fitbit.com
