Hi,

I did have my fitbit account registered to my HTC M8 One and I upgraded to a Samsung S7. My fitbit doesn't show steps on the app on my S7 and will not pair with it either.

Can anyone help please?

I had the same issue with my Galaxy S7
uninstall app/ delete device/ restart phone
Nothing worked until i restarted the Charge HR- it has to be plugged in to the charger and you hold down the button until something happens, mine said vibe and started vibrating then i think it said error then erase at which point i got scared and went back to the phone; suddenely it discovered the fitbit again and all is well. The data between when it stopped syncing and when i restarted it has been lost but everything before that is still there

Hi,

I am just using for phone with the app, I have no tracker.

When I use using my HTC One M8, it tracked my steps on the app with no
problem until the phone was no longer supported.

I can track my exercise on the app, but it does not seem to track my steps
on my S7.

Hi

I am only using my phone with fitbit, I am not using any device.

I used my previous phone and it tracked my steps with no problems until
fitbit stopped supporting the phone.

Fitbit app will not work without tracker on s7 currently. You would need to use s-health to track steps

@Rmueller186 @Hotpookas Welcome to our Community!

@Rmueller186 What you are referring is the MobileTrack feature that uses the phones integrated sensor to detect your steps. Not all phones have this chip/sensor and the app is not compatible some that do. This is the case for your phone but as far as I know the developers are working on expanding the list. Some Google phone now have this option.

@Hotpookas @Rthamilton Thank you for your help in this thread.
