Specs:
Nokia 6.1, Android version 9
Fitbit Ionic
So I recently had to upgrade phones, decided on the Nokia 6.1 after doing some research. The app/ionic synced for a while, then stopped after ~2 days.
Then I hopped on the forums, took a look around and to my surprise fitbit doesn't support Nokia. In general.
I've tried all the suggested syncing fixes, re-installing/restarting phone/ionic/bluetooth etc. . .
And I am fully aware now that my phone is not on the list of compatible devices so I shouldn't be too surprised. . .
But honestly I can't help but feel a bit burned. I didn't even think to research fitbit compatibility, since syncing with phones is one of its main features, without which it is basically useless. And Nokia has been a major player in the game for quite a while now. (Also as far as I can tell the fitbit sync issues far extend into phones that are compatible, based on issues on the forums, so how could I have known what phone to get anyway)
I would really appreciate being a bit more informed on this topic. Is there any Nokia compatibility in the pipeline at all? There are forum posts months back asking about this, and I can't seem to find any information other then "your phone is not currently in the compatible list". I realize moderators of these forums aren't directly connected to devs, and probably don't have access to the roadmap. But surely that information can be figured out somehow. . .
Unless of course there is no plan of adding compatibility or its still a long way off, in which case it may be best to keep users in the dark. Might lose some sales/customers otherwise.

@cjsweeten101 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!
Sorry to hear that your Ionic isn't syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. As you mentioned your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team.
You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Retry some of the suggestions like restarting your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. While we don't have any updates at this time you can always check the list to see if new devices are added.
As I mentioned you can try the suggestions above and refer to this article for more information about compatibility requirements.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi,
I tried to connect Nokia 5 & Flex 2 using the above-mentioned steps, it is finding the tracker and then it remains in connecting status. Do you have an alternative solution to resolve this issue?
Is Fitbit planning to add Nokia to their compatible device list? (I have raised a complaint 6 months back but I don't see any resolution from your end)
